The third-party Devil Hunter weapon guide ranks Kuchigatana, Scarlet Queen, Scissor Blade, Cross Punisher, Razor Fang, AK-47, and Devil Crusher in S tier. Its class-specific picks are Scissor Blade for Heavy, Kuchigatana for Medium, Kasaka’s Fang for Light, AK-47 for Firearms, and Devil Crusher for Martial Arts. These are guide recommendations—not an official developer ranking or the result of a standardized PvP or PvE comparison—and the available sources do not establish them as the definitive October 2026 meta.
Best Devil Hunter weapon by class
Choose a weapon class that fits how you want to fight, then use the guide’s pick as a starting point. The guide covers Light, Medium, Heavy, Martial Arts, and Ranged (Firearm) weapons.

| Class | Guide’s pick | Tier | Why the guide recommends it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Heavy | Scissor Blade | S | High damage output |
| Medium | Kuchigatana | S | Versatility and balance |
| Light | Kasaka’s Fang | A | Fast attack speed |
| Firearms | AK-47 | S | Ranged combat |
| Martial Arts | Devil Crusher | S | Hand-to-hand combat |
The class descriptions suggest a straightforward starting point: Light for speed and agility, Heavy for slower but powerful attacks, Medium for a balance of damage and speed, Firearms for ranged combat, and Martial Arts for a hand-to-hand style. The guide’s short reasons are recommendations, not controlled performance measurements. The tier guide does not establish a standardized comparison across PvP and PvE.

#1 Best Overall
- An import from Capcom
- Deviljho from Monster Hunter joins the deluxe-size Creator's Model line
- Carefully reproduces its forest green coloration and muscular upper body
- Measures about 9" tall
| Tier | Weapons |
|---|---|
| S | Kuchigatana, Scarlet Queen, Scissor Blade, Cross Punisher, Razor Fang, AK-47, Devil Crusher |
| A | Katana, Razor Halberd, Yukimura, Cobalt Bloom, Left and Right, Punk Hazard, Devil’s Maw, Yamada, Kasaka’s Fang |
| B | Velvet Knife, Shibuki, Model: Uzi, Locus Knife, Murasama |
| C | Broad Axe, Combat Knife |
| D | Kitchen Knife, Greenshot, 1911 |
Kasaka’s Fang is worth noting: the guide names it as the Light-class pick even though it sits in A tier overall. That illustrates why class fit can matter more than the overall tier when choosing a weapon.
How to choose beyond the tier
A tier label alone does not tell you whether a weapon fits your build or how much progression it requires. When comparing options, check the class, listed damage, in-game cost, proficiency or stat requirement, and whether the weapon is purchased, crafted, or obtained from a raid. The weapon database provides examples of those item details, but they are game data rather than real-world specifications and may change with patches.

How weapons are acquired
The weapons guide describes three routes: buying from the Armory or Black Market, crafting at Division 2, and obtaining raid drops. It says only human characters can craft, most craftable weapons require devil flesh, and some recipes call for specific devil parts. The database also lists raid-sourced weapons. Drop rules, exact availability, and item rosters can be patch-sensitive.
Rank #3
- Devil Jin is a demon with only ultimate power and destruction on his mind.
The guide names Rev of Hell from the CSM Raid, Devils Fuse from the Bomb Raid, and Grave Digger from the Zombie Raid in its legendary-weapon section. Treat these as guide-reported sources, not a guarantee of current drop rates or availability.

Those are page-reported balance details; check in-game if one of these interactions affects your choice. A separate update tracker reports Patch 2 live on July 31, 2026, with hotfixes through August 8. That timeline does not establish that the tier guide was revised to reflect every later weapon change. The ranking page excerpt does not state a clear last-updated date, so its recommendations should be read as that guide’s ranking, not a verified October 2026 meta.
