To check whether Diablo IV has a reported outage, start with Blizzard Support’s Breaking News and @BlizzardCS. Then check Activision Support’s Online Services page and the network-status page for your platform. If those show no relevant issue, investigate your platform connection and home network.
Check Blizzard’s latest Diablo IV updates
Blizzard’s Diablo IV technical-support guidance recommends checking its Breaking News and @BlizzardCS for known issues before troubleshooting. The guidance was posted on March 1, 2023, so use it as a pointer to where Blizzard publishes updates—not as a current report of server status. Check the latest posts for an incident affecting Diablo IV or your region.
You can also look for current announcements on Blizzard Support. A lack of an announcement does not prove that every regional service is unaffected.
Check service and platform status
Open Activision Support’s Online Services page for service and outage information. It links to network-status resources for Xbox, PlayStation Network, Battle.net, Nintendo, Steam, and Epic Games. Check the network for the platform you use, especially if the game service appears available but you still cannot connect.

Check for scheduled maintenance
Blizzard Support publishes a Weekly Maintenance Schedule. Consult the current notice for its stated timing and affected services. The schedule is not evidence of a fixed Diablo IV maintenance window or duration, so rely on the live notice rather than assuming when the game will be unavailable.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Use the checks to narrow down the problem
- Blizzard announcement: Look for a Diablo IV incident or maintenance notice in Breaking News or on @BlizzardCS.
- Game-service status: Check Activision’s Online Services page for a service or outage report.
- Platform network: Check the status page for your console or PC platform. A game-service indicator alone does not rule out a platform-network problem.
- Your connection: If the official channels show no relevant issue, try the basic network checks and Blizzard’s platform-specific connection guidance.
Status pages and announcements can change. Recheck the official updates if the problem continues; an indicator showing no known event is not confirmation that every player or region can connect.
