#1 Best Overall
- The Diablo Prime Evil Collection includes Diablo II: Resurrected, Diablo III, the Reaper of Souls expansion which includes Act V, Adventure Mode and the Crusader class, and the Rise of the Necromancer pack, with the Necromancer class, and additional cosmetic items. This collection also includes the Mephisto pet and the fearsome wings, Hatred’s Grasp, for Diablo III.
Blizzard’s launch guide also lists Windows PC for Diablo II: Resurrected, but current PC availability and price for the Prime Evil Collection were not established here. Check the store for your platform and region to confirm that the bundle is currently offered and that its contents match what you expect.
How much does it cost?
At the time the US storefronts were checked on October 8, 2026, the PlayStation Store listed the collection at $59.99, while the Xbox Store showed a price from $59.99. These are time-sensitive US listing observations, not guaranteed prices for another region or a later date. Activision Blizzard’s original $59.99 suggested retail price was announced in 2021 and is historical, not a current quote.

Blizzard’s launch guide states that Diablo II: Resurrected is only available digitally and has no physical version. The official information reviewed does not establish a boxed Prime Evil Collection edition. Treat the bundle as a digital storefront purchase rather than relying on a purported physical copy.

Does cross-progression mean one purchase works on every platform?
No. Activision Blizzard’s June 13, 2021 announcement says cross-progression for Diablo II: Resurrected requires a linked Battle.net account and a separate game license for each supported platform. Blizzard’s launch guide explains that players link a console to their Battle.net account.
In practice, cross-progression can let supported progress follow your linked account, but it does not convert a PlayStation license into an Xbox, Switch, or PC license. The explicit separate-license statement applies to Diablo II: Resurrected; it should not be treated as a blanket licensing statement about every game in the collection.
Quick Recap
What to check before buying
- Platform: Select the edition for the console you own, and verify current PC bundle availability directly if you play on Windows.
- Contents: Confirm that the listing includes both games and the two Diablo III cosmetics.
- Price: Check your region’s current price and any sale end date rather than relying on a price seen elsewhere.
- Online play: The Xbox listing says console online multiplayer requires Xbox Game Pass Essential, Premium, or Ultimate, sold separately. The PlayStation listing says an online multiplayer subscription may be required. Check the store’s current regional terms.
- Multiple platforms: If you plan to play on more than one supported platform, account for a separate Diablo II: Resurrected license on each one.
