Do you have to choose between the three rewards?
No. The Season of Discovery guide lists Fury Visor, Diamond Flask, and Razorsteel Shoulders as rewards from the Warrior class quest and says players receive all three. They occupy different equipment slots, so whether to equip Diamond Flask depends on your character’s build, the encounter, and what other gear you have; the available sources do not establish a current best-in-slot ranking.
What is known about Diamond Flask’s behavior?
The item page reproduces a statement from Aggrend, identified there as a Blizzard QA Lead, about reports of Diamond Flask behavior: “We’ve looked into these reports and have found that the Diamond Flask’s behavior does in fact correctly match Original WoW 1.12 as well as the Reference Client. For now, at least, we have no plans to change it.” That statement addresses Original WoW 1.12 and the Reference Client; it is not an explicit confirmation of Season of Discovery behavior.

A user comment on the item page says the effect works in Season of Discovery, but that is community testimony rather than an official confirmation. The item listing and cited guide do not establish whether later hotfixes changed the behavior.

The Sunken Temple overview describes the raid as a 20-player level-up raid recommended for level 50 during Phase 3. Those details describe the guide’s Phase 3 context, not confirmation of current Season of Discovery realm availability or current raid conditions.
