A reported in-game ad in Forza Horizon 5 showed Forza Horizon 6 launching on May 19, 2026, with Premium Edition early access beginning May 15. Playground Games later confirmed both dates. The Xbox Series X|S and PC release has since happened; the official announcement reviewed here gives no exact PS5 date.

GamesRadar+ reported on January 14, 2026, that an advertisement appearing inside Forza Horizon 5 displayed May 19, 2026 as the full launch date for Forza Horizon 6, and May 15 for Premium Edition early access. That was a report about an in-game ad, not a formal announcement from Playground Games. GamesRadar+’s report is the contemporaneous source for what the ad reportedly said.

Platforms, setting, and early-access context
Playground Games announced Japan as the setting and said the game would launch first on Xbox Series X|S and PC, with PS5 to follow after launch. The January announcement names the Microsoft Store and Steam for PC. Xbox’s product page lists Xbox Series X|S and Windows 10/11, identifies Playground Games as developer and Xbox Game Studios as publisher, and presents Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate/Premium editions. See the Xbox product listing and the official Japan-setting announcement.
The four-day head start was tied to the Premium Edition at launch. The pre-order announcement also described included content and a Ferrari J50 pre-order offer; those were launch-period details, not confirmation of current offers. Playground Games’ pre-order announcement has the edition information.
