Yes. Bully Online, a fan-made multiplayer mod for Bully, was reported live in mid-December 2025 after its creators announced a December early-access launch. It did not remain available: reports said the project shut down permanently in January 2026, with its server, launcher, source code and account data taken down or deleted.
What was Bully Online?
Bully Online was a fan project intended to add multiplayer to Rockstar’s 2006 game Bully, which did not originally include online multiplayer. It targeted Bully: Scholarship Edition on PC; it was not an official Rockstar game or service. GameSpot’s October 2025 announcement coverage and RockstarINTEL’s December launch report identify the project and its target game.

At announcement, creator Swegta described it as including “Minigames, roleplay, freeroam, and a ton of exclusive content,” in a social media announcement quoted by Gamepressure. Later coverage also reported features such as races, NPC encounters, inventory and in-game currency. These were reported plans and features, not independently verified gameplay.
When did Bully Online release?
The October 28, 2025 announcement set December 2025 as the planned early-access window. GameSpot reported the mod had launched in mid-December, and RockstarINTEL reported it live on December 16, 2025. The December release was therefore a past launch, not an upcoming one.
#1 Best Overall
- Great humor and voices bring the hilarious story to life
- Takes groundbreaking and original gameplay and humorous tongue-in-cheek storytelling to an entirely new setting: the schoolyard
- As a troublesome schoolboy, you'll stand up to bullies, get picked on by teachers and play pranks on malicious kids
- You'll also win or lose the girl and ultimately learn to navigate the obstacles of the fictitious reform school, Bullworth Academy
- At long last, stand up for the nerds, geeks, and unrepresented!
GameSpot’s original announcement also described an $8 Ko-fi contribution tier with access perks. That was an announcement-era offer, not a current way to join or download the mod.
Can you still play Bully Online?
No. Reports published January 14–15, 2026 said the project was shutting down permanently. PC Gamer reproduced a shutdown message attributed to the project’s Discord, which said the server would close, development would stop, source code and webpages would be removed, launcher downloads taken down, and account data permanently deleted. GameSpot likewise reported that the project’s Discord, scripts, source code, webpages, launcher and account data had been removed or deleted by January 14.

Those reports do not establish a confirmed reason for the shutdown. Speculation that Rockstar or Take-Two took legal action was not confirmed, so it should not be treated as the cause.

Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteDoes buying Bully: Scholarship Edition give you access?
No. Bully: Scholarship Edition is the original PC game the mod targeted; buying or owning it does not restore or include the defunct Bully Online project. The reports of deleted downloads and account data also mean old project links should not be treated as working access points.
