Yes. Epic brought the Renegade Raider Outfit back in Fortnite’s OG Season Shop in December 2024. That offer ended on January 30, 2025, at 7 PM ET, so the announcement does not confirm that it is available now or that it will return again.
When did Renegade Raider return?
Epic announced the OG Season Shop on December 20, 2024, as Fortnite OG revisited Chapter 1 Season 1. The shop featured Renegade Raider, Aerial Assault Trooper, Raider’s Revenge and Aerial Assault One—items originally available during the first Battle Royale season in 2017. Epic’s announcement set the shop’s closing time at January 30, 2025, at 7 PM ET.
How did players unlock it?
Players needed to earn 1,500,000 XP to unlock Renegade Raider for purchase in the OG Season Shop. Epic said XP from any Fortnite experience that awards XP counted. The shop was available inside Fortnite; this offer was not in the online Item Shop.
Does Fortnite OG staying mean the skin is still available?
No. Epic’s December 5, 2024 announcement said Fortnite OG was “here to stay,” referring to the mode’s return as a continuing experience. It did not say that every OG Season Shop item would remain available. The announcement also identified Renegade Rebel—not Renegade Raider—as an outfit earned through the Season 1 OG Pass. Epic’s mode announcement does not establish a later Renegade Raider shop rotation.
