Pop Culture News reproduced Safran’s description of meeting studio leaders, including teams at NetherRealm and Rocksteady, to discuss characters and stories they might want to develop. Gunn also described reviewing designs and story ideas at very early stages. Has DC announced a Marvel Rivals-style game since?
The official DC announcement available here is its July 8, 2026 Comic-Con lineup, which includes LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight and describes that game’s platforms and related content. It does not announce a DC counterpart to Marvel Rivals. DC’s Comic-Con 2026 announcement is not a complete inventory of Warner Bros.
