A Mega Evolution leak claim was circulating by July 2025, months before The Pokémon Company announced several new forms. But the available evidence does not verify that an authenticated leak contained the complete roster that ultimately appeared in Pokémon Legends: Z-A and its Mega Dimension expansion. Later reveals added forms after that discussion, so “the entire list leaked” overstates what can be established.
What the July 2025 leak claim actually established
On July 26, 2025, the Pokémon creator PokeTips published a video titled “ALL NEW Mega Evolutions LIKELY LEAKED for Pokemon Legends ZA.” Its description framed the subject as likely and credited community posts and fan artists. That is evidence that leak discussion was underway before official reveals—not independent authentication of an original leak, its author, or a complete final roster. PokeTips’ July 2025 video

The distinction matters: a later roster can include forms that were rumored earlier without proving that one reliable leak disclosed every eventual form. The materials available do not establish an authenticated original document containing the complete released list.

Which forms were revealed after the early leak discussion?
September 2025: three main-game forms and two DLC forms
The Pokémon Company’s September announcement confirmed Mega Chesnaught, Mega Delphox, and Mega Greninja for Pokémon Legends: Z-A. It also presented Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y as discoveries in Mega Dimension. Those official reveals came after the July leak discussion, but they do not, by themselves, prove whether any particular form had been accurately rumored beforehand. December 2025: Mega Lucario Z is its own form
The official announcement called Mega Lucario Z a new form in Mega Dimension and explicitly separated it from the already-present Mega Lucario. The Z form has a battle distinction: Pokémon says it can act sooner after receiving an order, but uses Mega Power quickly and is less suited to long battles. The Pokémon Company’s Mega Lucario Z news

February 2026: Mega Garchomp Z is distinct from Mega Garchomp
The Pokémon Company announced Mega Garchomp Z for Mega Dimension on February 27, 2026. It described the Z form as Dragon type rather than Dragon/Ground and explained how to obtain Garchompite Z. As with Lucario, count Mega Garchomp Z separately from Mega Garchomp when discussing forms. The Pokémon Company’s Mega Garchomp Z news

On January 13, 2026, PokéBeach reported 26 new Mega forms in the base game and 22 in Mega Dimension, for 48 altogether. That is PokéBeach’s count, not a total attributed to an official Pokémon Company announcement. It was also published months after the July rumor coverage, and before the company’s February announcement of Mega Garchomp Z. It therefore cannot establish that the full eventual roster was leaked months earlier. PokéBeach’s roster report

Why “Mega Evolution list” needs a little context
Mega Evolution is temporary. The Pokémon Company’s explanation says it involves a Key Stone worn by a Trainer and a Mega Stone held by a Pokémon; the transformation lasts for a limited time, so timing it matters in battle. The Pokémon Company’s Mega Evolution guide
Also keep the form names precise. Mega Lucario and Mega Lucario Z are separate forms, as are Mega Garchomp and Mega Garchomp Z. A list that collapses each pair into one entry obscures the distinction official announcements make.
