No: The Simpsons did not permanently kill Peely in Fortnite. A Season 37 couch gag gives the banana character a gruesome, darkly comic send-off, but that animated joke is separate from Peely’s status as a Fortnite cosmetic.
What happens to Peely in the Simpsons episode?
In “Bad Boys… For Life?”, Fortnite characters appear on the Simpsons family couch. As the family tries to flee, Peely slips; the scene ends with a banana-split punchline, according to TechJuice’s report. The joke plays on Peely’s banana design rather than documenting a change to the game.
FOX lists “Bad Boys… For Life?” as Season 37, Episode 5, dated November 2, 2025. FOX’s listing confirms the episode details; the description of the Peely gag comes from TechJuice.
Was Peely removed from Fortnite?
There is no evidence in the episode report or Epic’s crossover announcement that Peely was permanently removed from Fortnite or that his in-game status changed. The couch gag is an animated scene; the outfit is a separate digital game cosmetic.

In its November 1, 2025 announcement of the Simpsons-themed Fortnite mini-season, Epic identifies Springfielder Peely as a Springfield Battle Pass Outfit. Epic describes it as a premium reward, alongside outfits including Homer, Marge, Flanders and Blinky Fishstick. That announcement establishes the outfit’s place in the crossover; it does not make the episode gag a game update.
