Is Dino Crisis on PS Plus in October? It was announced for the Premium Classics catalog in October 2024, not as an October 2026 Monthly Game. Sony’s October 2026 Monthly Games are F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2.
When Dino Crisis joined PS Plus
Sony announced Dino Crisis as a PlayStation Plus Premium Classics addition on October 9, 2024, with the games in that announcement set to become available on October 15. Sony lists the classic for PS4 and PS5 and describes it as originally released on the original PlayStation. Sony’s October 2024 catalog announcement says the Classics version adds up-rendering, rewind, quick save and custom video filters.

Sony’s post identifies it as a Capcom adventure. This is the enhanced Classics release of the original PlayStation game, rather than a new October monthly-game selection.
October 2026’s PS Plus Monthly Games
Sony’s separate October 2026 Monthly Games announcement names three titles. Members could access them from Tuesday, October 6 through Monday, November 2, 2026, according to Sony’s October 2026 announcement.

The distinction is the catalog category as well as the year: Sony’s 2024 post places Dino Crisis in Premium Classics, while the 2026 post lists that month’s Monthly Games. The two announcements do not support describing Dino Crisis as leading the October 2026 monthly lineup.

What to know before looking for Dino Crisis
- Check the local PlayStation Store and your account’s available membership catalog for current access; Sony’s announcement does not establish availability for every region or account.
- PS Plus catalog access is not the same as buying a permanent copy. The October 2024 post confirms the addition and stated availability date, but not that the game remains in the catalog indefinitely.
- If you want the original physical release, distinguish an original PS1 disc from the PS Plus Classics version, which Sony describes as enhanced with modern features.
