There is no established evidence that Phenomaman, Chase, or Blonde Blazer is secretly a villain in Dispatch—and no reliable measure showing that players broadly believe they are. The theory is better treated as a question about how to read suspicious behavior in a choice-driven story: what the game shows, what motive it establishes, and whether the scene changes with your choices.
Why the theory is plausible—but not confirmed
Dispatch, developed by AdHoc Studio, is a superhero workplace comedy in which player choices matter. Steam’s listing says all episodes are available. In a narrative built around character relationships and branching scenes, a tense exchange or unexpected action can invite suspicion without proving a hidden plan.
That distinction matters here. The available character references are fan-maintained wiki pages, not official confirmation of a twist. They provide plot context that can help explain why someone might scrutinize these characters, but they do not establish that any of them is an antagonist. The cited player discussion is anecdotal, not evidence of a consensus or a verified game bug.
What the story context says about each character
Blonde Blazer
The Blonde Blazer page describes her as Phenomaman’s partner and later ex, and recounts subsequent developments involving Robert and the Z-Team. Some actions and outcomes depend on player decisions. Those relationships and branching events can give players reasons to question her, but suspicion is not confirmation of villainy.

Phenomaman
The Phenomaman page identifies him as Blonde Blazer’s former partner and describes post-breakup behavior and possible involvement with the Z-Team that can depend on choices. Emotional volatility or awkward conduct may read as ominous, but those traits alone do not show that he is carrying out a secret antagonist plan.
Chase
The Chase page identifies him as formerly Track Star, a friend of Robert, and a character involved in later story events. A theory about him needs to be grounded in the particular scene and route a player experienced; the name or the framing of the theory is not evidence by itself.

How to judge a possible twist villain
For any of the three characters, keep observable events separate from interpretation. Ask these questions in order:
- What did the character actually do? Describe the scene or action without adding a motive the game has not stated.
- What motive does the story establish? A strained relationship or suspicious moment may suggest a motive, but suggestion is not proof.
- Does the reading depend on a choice or branch? Compare the scene with the choices that led to it before treating it as a fixed character trait or clue.
- What do later events do to the suspicion? They may confirm it, complicate it, or undermine it. A theory is strongest when it accounts for those developments rather than only one unsettling moment.
Using that test keeps the discussion useful: a character can behave in a way that feels suspicious without the story having confirmed a twist. The cited pages do not settle the theory, and no developer statement in the cited material confirms that these characters are secret villains.

Does “players are convinced” mean there is a consensus?
No prevalence figure is established. Steam review counts cannot measure belief in this specific theory, and a sampled Reddit discussion cannot establish what the player base as a whole thinks. That discussion includes a question about an Invisigal and Shroud ending outcome; it does not verify that a glitch exists or demonstrate how widely any twist-villain theory is held.
For the game’s identity and availability, see the Steam listing. The character-specific plot context above comes from fan-maintained wiki pages, so readers weighing a theory should check the relevant scenes in their own playthrough rather than treating a wiki summary as official confirmation.
