AdHoc Studio said Dispatch sold one million copies in its first 10 days. The studio’s announcement was dated November 3, 2025, 12 days after the game’s October 22 release. The figure is the studio’s reported sales milestone—not an independently audited total, a player count, or a revenue figure.
How many copies did Dispatch sell in 10 days?
AdHoc Studio reported that Dispatch had sold one million copies in 10 days. The studio posted the claim on November 3, 2025; PC Gamer reported it the following day. PC Gamer’s November 4 report and RPGFan’s November 9 report both attribute the milestone to AdHoc.
RPGFan reproduced the studio’s post: “2 days. 80 million copies sold.Would’ve been nice.We sold 1 Million in 10 days though.Still pretty good.” The 80-million line is a joke, not a sales claim; the reported figure is one million copies in 10 days.
What the sales figure does—and does not—tell us
“Copies sold” describes the metric AdHoc announced. The cited reports do not provide an independent audit, platform or territory breakdown, revenue total, or number of individual players. The figure therefore should not be recast as any of those measures.

Steam’s review totals and positive-review percentage are separate, changing store metrics; they are not a substitute for sales data. Steam’s listing identifies the game and its current store information, but does not establish the composition of the studio’s reported million-copy total.
The milestone arrived during the episodic release
Dispatch launched on PC and consoles on October 22, 2025, with Steam listing that date as its release date. When PC Gamer reported the milestone on November 4, the six-episode rollout was still in progress: the final two episodes were scheduled for November 12. Steam’s listing now says all episodes are out. Those statements describe different points in time, not a contradiction.

Dispatch is a superhero workplace comedy. Players control Robert Robertson, also known as Mecha Man, who takes a job as a dispatcher after his mech suit is destroyed. He assigns a roster of reformed supervillains to emergencies while navigating office relationships and making consequential choices.
In an Unreal Engine interview, AdHoc CTO and Creative Director Dennis Lenart called it “a superhero workplace comedy set in modern day Los Angeles.” He described the dispatcher role as a way to connect the story with the game’s systems: managing the team, handling its dynamics, and trying to rebuild Mecha Man’s suit.
