What the code reportedly suggested
Reporting described unused variables referring to a love interest who might “spend the night.” The implied placement was after the party at Robert’s apartment in Episode 6, late in Dispatch’s eight-episode season. The reporting identified Blonde Blazer or Invisigal as the possible character, depending on player choices. VideoGamer’s December 23, 2025 report summarized the code clue and the developers’ later clarification.
That establishes a proposed story moment, not a fully implemented romance route or a complete scene. The reports do not specify an in-world clock time or calendar date, so “after the Episode 6 party” is as precise as the evidence allows.
Were the scenes finished and then cut?
No. Dispatch game director Nick Herman and lead writer Pierre Shorette later explained that the scenes suggested by the code never reached storyboarding or animation. Reporting by EGW-News on December 20, 2025 quotes Herman: “So just to say it: those scenes were never storyboarded. They didn’t go into animation. So people say ‘release them’: they never tangibly existed.”

Herman also described the Episode 6 party sequence as having been planned on a much larger scale before the team removed substantial writing to fit what it could produce. That production context helps explain why a story possibility could be reflected in code without becoming a finished sequence.
Why players expected cut sex scenes
Earlier coverage recorded Shorette saying the developers had cut sex scenes and suggesting fans might see them one day. That comment helped drive expectations, but it does not mean the specific scenes implied by the code were completed and removed. VideoGamer’s November 13, 2025 report covered those earlier remarks; the later clarification distinguishes content removed from the plan from a finished scene cut after production.
