Titleist’s iron selector treats handicap as one factor, not necessarily the most important one; its fitting guidance focuses on distance, dispersion, and descent angle. They also do not quantify a score, distance, or dispersion advantage for one category over another.

PING describes its G440 HL as placing saved weight lower and farther back, with claimed benefits to ball speed and dispersion, and recommends finding a suitable shaft through fitting. Titleist positions its T350 primarily for mid-to-high-handicap golfers seeking forgiveness, distance, and improved launch. Those statements describe manufacturer design claims and intended users, not independently established results for every golfer.
