Usually, no. Minecraft lists beds as nonflammable, but lava can set a bed on fire in Java Edition; the cited reference says it does not do so in Bedrock Edition. A bed used in the Nether or End is a separate case: it explodes and can set nearby blocks on fire.
Can lava set a Minecraft bed on fire?
It depends on the edition. The Minecraft Wiki bed reference lists beds as nonflammable generally, while separately noting that lava can make them catch fire in Java Edition but not Bedrock Edition. The reference does not establish a current release number for this distinction, so it is best read as an edition-specific behavior rather than a claim about every historical version.

Why does a bed explode in the Nether or End?
Beds are intended for setting a respawn point in the Overworld. Trying to sleep in one in the Nether or End triggers an explosion; the resulting fire affects nearby blocks. That fire is an effect of the explosion, not evidence that the bed is ordinarily flammable. Minecraft.net describes beds as Overworld respawn items and gives the crafting recipe as three wool blocks and three planks (Minecraft guide to surviving your first night).

Disable bed explosions in Bedrock Edition
In Bedrock Edition, set /gamerule respawnBlocksExplode false to disable explosions from beds and other respawn blocks. Beds still cannot be used to sleep in invalid dimensions, so this does not make them usable for sleeping in the Nether or End. See the Minecraft Wiki’s bed sleeping reference for the mechanic.

What about custom Bedrock blocks?
Creators can configure fire behavior for custom Bedrock blocks. Microsoft Learn’s minecraft:flammable block component documentation says: “If set to false, or if this component is omitted, the block will not be able to catch on fire naturally from neighbors, but it can still be directly ignited.” The page describes creator-defined blocks, not the vanilla bed, so its settings should not be used to infer the built-in bed’s behavior.
