What were the Far Lands in Bedrock?
The classic Bedrock Far Lands were an unintended terrain-generation bug, not a designed destination. They historically appeared around X or Z coordinates of ±12,550,821. The Minecraft Wiki’s version history records those coordinates and the Bedrock removal attribution: The Minecraft Wiki’s Far Lands history.

Mojang’s legacy bug tracker also documents the old Far Lands and their extreme-distance effects: Mojang bug tracker: MCPE-31096.
When did they stop generating?
Community-maintained version history identifies Bedrock 1.17.30 as the point when the classic Far Lands were removed, including across dimensions. Mojang’s official Bedrock 1.17.30 changelog provides a reference for that release, but does not explicitly say that the Far Lands were removed. The exact version attribution therefore comes from the community-maintained history rather than an explicit statement in Mojang’s notes.

Bedrock continues to receive updates; for example, Mojang has published a 26.30 Bedrock changelog. That newer changelog does not announce a Far Lands change.
Why might a newer world still show Far Lands-like terrain?
A screenshot or unusual formation is not, by itself, evidence that a current Bedrock version generated the classic Far Lands. A world upgraded from an older version may retain terrain in chunks that were already generated. A later report of Far Lands-like blocks in a newer world describes an appearance, not proof of new generation: Mojang bug tracker: MCPE-181900.

Extreme coordinates can also produce other visual or terrain effects. In particular, Mojang’s tracker describes the Stripe Lands around X or Z ±16,777,216. That is a separate distance effect, not the classic Far Lands.

- Stripe Lands: a distinct effect described around ±16,777,216.
- Old chunks: previously generated terrain may remain in an upgraded world and look unlike newly generated terrain.
How to interpret a Far Lands screenshot
Check the edition and version shown, whether the world has been upgraded, and the coordinates. A historical video, preview build, or old world does not establish that ordinary current Bedrock naturally generates the classic Far Lands. Coordinates are useful for identifying the historical effect, not directions for reaching it in a current world.
