No. When a Roblox Limited or Limited U sells, its Robux proceeds first appear as Pending, not in your available balance. Roblox says the item’s holding period can be up to 30 days; the sale does not have a guaranteed fixed payout date. You can track sales and pending Robux in My Transactions.
What happens to Robux after a Limited sells?
Roblox holds the sale proceeds before releasing them to your balance. Its selling guidance says the Robux first appears as Pending and moves to your balance after the holding period ends. Roblox describes that period as up to 30 days. That is a possible maximum, not a promise that every sale takes 30 days or clears on a particular date.
Roblox does not state an average payout time or a typical clearance schedule in the guidance cited here, so there is no supported way to predict the exact day your proceeds will become available.
How to check your pending Robux
- Open Roblox and go to My Transactions.
- Review your sales and pending Robux there. Pending proceeds have not yet been added to your available balance.
An item’s details page can show resale information such as current reseller listings and price charts, but Roblox names My Transactions as the place to track sales and pending Robux.

Can you sell any Roblox item?
No. Roblox says only Limited and Limited U items can be resold, and the item must have cleared its holding period. Its current How to sell items guidance says an active Roblox Plus subscription is required.
Roblox’s separate item details guidance says Roblox Plus or legacy Premium. The official pages therefore differ on the subscription wording, and do not establish that legacy Premium qualifies every seller. Check Roblox’s current selling instructions and your account’s eligibility before listing.

Does trading give Robux instantly?
A trade is not a sale. Selling lists an owned Limited for Robux; trading exchanges items directly with another player. Roblox says an agreed trade happens instantly, but that refers to the item exchange—not to resale proceeds. A sale’s Robux still appears as Pending before it is released to your balance. See Roblox’s trading guidance for the distinction.

Use Roblox’s official Sell and Trade features. Roblox says it cannot return items or Robux lost in deals arranged outside its systems. Do not give someone your account or hand over an item on the promise that they will sell it for you. Roblox’s trading-scam guidance explains this risk.
