Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →No—you do not need a full moon for the Mirror Fractal resonance step used to find Blue Gear in Blox Fruits. You do need to meet the route’s progression requirements and search Mirage Island at night. Full moon requirements associated with later Race V4 trials are a separate step.
Does Blue Gear require a full moon?
No. The Blox Fruits Wiki’s Blue Gear guide and its Temple of Time guide say that any moon phase works for the Mirror Fractal resonance step. You can begin that part of the Blue Gear route without waiting for a full moon.
What you need before searching for Blue Gear
The Blue Gear reference lists these prerequisites:
- Access to the Third Sea.
- Completion of the Sealed King quest.
- Defeat of rip_indra in True Form.
- A Mirror Fractal.
- Race V3.
The reference reports an update on September 24, 2026. It is a community-maintained wiki, not official developer documentation, so follow the current in-game instructions if they differ.
Where and when to find it
Once the relevant requirements are met, go to Mirage Island at night, locate the Blue Gear, and touch it to collect it. Nighttime is part of the collection condition; a full moon is not required for the resonance step.

Blue Gear and Race V4 trials are different steps
Do not apply the Blue Gear moon-phase rule to every later part of Race V4 progression. A separate Race V4 guide, updated August 16, 2026, says normal Race V4 trials still require a full moon. That guide is also editorial rather than official, so check the current in-game prompt when you reach the trials.
