Does Chronicles: Medieval support mods?
Mod support is planned, but the developer says modding tools will not be available on day one. Raw Power Games expects the tools to be fully released by version 1.0, with possible earlier rollouts or testing periods during Early Access. That is a development plan, not confirmation that tools or specific mods are currently available. Raw Power Games’ announcement says the game is being built with the modding community in mind and that the team has worked with experienced modders.
Does Chronicles: Medieval have multiplayer or co-op?
Co-op custom battles are planned for Early Access. The developer describes them as cooperative battles against a hostile army, with up to four friends. A co-op campaign is a longer-term ambition for version 1.0, not a stated day-one Early Access feature; the details are still being finalized. Raw Power Games’ multiplayer plans do not make a commitment to dedicated servers, matchmaking, server browsers, or large PvP battles; the developer says those are not a focus.
Can you play Chronicles: Medieval with a controller?
SteamDB’s configuration listing labels controller support as “partial.” This is a limited compatibility signal, not a guide to which devices work or whether the whole game can be played without a mouse and keyboard. The listing does not identify controller brands or models, menu coverage, or support across game modes, so practical compatibility remains unclear.

A TechRadar preview reports that full console support is planned for the official 1.0 release. That report concerns a future plan and does not establish current PC controller compatibility.

The feature timelines differ: co-op custom battles are planned for Early Access; complete modding tools and co-op campaign are expected or hoped for by version 1.0; and controller support remains unclear in practical detail. The official announcement index says Early Access was moved to early 2027, which is a target rather than a guaranteed date. In a Gamescom update, the developer described the presented battle footage as work in progress and subject to change, so these features should be treated as plans rather than final capabilities.
