How do the controls work in The Room Three?
Fireproof Games describes The Room Three as a tactile puzzle game in which you rotate, zoom in on, and examine objects to uncover their secrets. Its official page also presents the eyepiece as a way to explore the world in miniature. These describe the game’s interaction design, not a verified list of gestures or button mappings. Fireproof Games’ official game page calls it “A tactile experience so natural you can almost feel the surface of each object.”
The documentation reviewed does not specify whether a particular action uses a tap, swipe, pinch, mouse input, or controller, nor does it provide a step-by-step control manual. Exact inputs may depend on platform; consult the relevant version’s in-game instructions rather than assuming a mapping.
What sound does the game include?
Fireproof describes a haunting soundtrack and dynamic sound effects as part of the game’s atmosphere. The official descriptions establish those audio elements, but do not list separate volume sliders, a sound-mix menu, or where such controls would be found. Why is there no sound in The Room Three?
Fireproof’s support advice is specific to iPad. The developer identifies the physical mute switch as a likely cause; on iPads without that switch, check the device’s mute control. If sound is still missing, Fireproof suggests restarting the device. These are device-level steps, not instructions for an in-game audio setting.
- Check whether the iPad’s physical mute switch is enabled.
- If the iPad has no physical switch, check its device mute control.
- Restart the iPad if the first checks do not restore sound.
- If the issue persists, contact Fireproof Games support using its support contact page.
This advice does not establish equivalent troubleshooting steps for Android or PC. Fireproof’s cited mute-switch guidance is for iPad; the reviewed official pages do not give platform-specific sound troubleshooting for those other versions. The original support guidance is on Fireproof’s FAQ page.

Which accessibility settings are confirmed?
The official pages reviewed describe touch interaction, atmospheric audio, and an enhanced hint system, but do not inventory a complete settings or accessibility menu. They do not confirm text-size controls, subtitles, color adjustments, one-handed play, input remapping, or separate audio controls. That means these options are unverified in the available documentation, not proof that they are absent from every version.
Fireproof does document an enhanced hint system and says hints can be reread to get the full picture. It is a gameplay help feature; the developer’s descriptions do not identify it as an accessibility setting. Check the relevant game version directly if you need to confirm a particular option.

Which platforms are listed?
The Room Three has separate PC and mobile listings. Steam identifies the Windows PC release and gives November 13, 2018 as its release date; Apple and Google Play list mobile versions. Store availability and device compatibility can vary by region and change, so check the listing for your platform and location.
