That gives the game a substantial stated campaign scope, but the claim that it has more single-player content than every other RTS at launch is KING Art Games’ comparison—not a verified industry record.
What Dawn of War IV’s campaigns include
KING Art Games announced four full campaigns, one for each playable faction: Orks, Adeptus Mechanicus, Necrons, and Space Marines. Each campaign is designed for solo play or co-op. Games Workshop’s Warhammer Community announcement puts the total at more than 70 campaign missions and places the story on Kronus, with a narrative by Black Library author John French. (KING Art Games; Warhammer Community)
The announced scope also includes optional missions and decisions that affect the campaign. In an interview with PC Gamer, KING Art Creative Director and Game Director Jan Theysen described the goal as giving each faction a substantial campaign rather than dividing one campaign into short faction segments. He said the studio wanted to make campaigns dynamic, with optional missions and consequential player decisions, and described the result as “four beefy campaigns plus the tutorial.” (PC Gamer)
Why the “more than any other RTS” claim needs qualification
PCGamesN reported KING Art’s position that Dawn of War IV offers more single-player content than any other RTS at launch. That is a developer’s genre-wide comparison, not an independently established statistic. The announcements provide concrete figures for this game—four campaigns and 70-plus missions—but do not define what counts as “single-player content,” compare equivalent launch builds across RTS games, or establish a historical record. For a fair comparison, readers would need consistent measures: campaign count, mission count, solo and co-op availability, branching or optional content, and whether tutorials or post-launch additions are included. The published claim does not provide that like-for-like comparison. The safest takeaway is that the game has an unusually explicit and ambitious announced campaign package, while the “more than any other RTS” portion remains attributed to its developer.

Other announced scale indicators
KING Art’s August 19, 2025 announcement also cited more than 110 units and buildings, many upgradeable, and more than 40 minutes of fully animated in-game cinematics. These are developer-announced figures for the game’s planned scope, not independently measured content totals. The studio called it its biggest game to date and said it would be the biggest Dawn of War at launch. (KING Art Games)
