Yes. Dragon Age: The Veilguard includes nudity, and EA says it is a default aspect of character romancing. To disable the in-game Nudity option, open Settings, choose Options, scroll to Nudity, and toggle it Off. EA’s instructions do not specify exactly which scenes or depictions this setting affects.
How to turn off nudity in The Veilguard
- Open Settings.
- Select Options.
- Scroll down to Nudity.
- Toggle the setting Off.
This is the menu path provided by EA Help’s romance guide. The guide does not name a game version or explain whether turning the option off removes every depiction of nudity.
What nudity and sexual content does the game include?
The ESRB rates Dragon Age: The Veilguard Mature 17+, with content descriptors for Blood, Nudity, Sexual Themes, Strong Language, and Violence. Its description says characters kiss, moan, and straddle one another, caress each other while wearing underwear, and appear topless for prolonged periods during character customization and/or love scenes.
That is the ESRB’s description of the game’s content as a whole; it does not establish which specific depictions are affected by the Nudity toggle. The rating is listed on the ESRB’s Dragon Age: The Veilguard page.

EA describes nudity as a default aspect of character romancing and provides a control to switch the Nudity option off. However, its published instructions do not define the setting’s full scope. They do not say whether it affects every romance scene, character customization, all topless depictions, or any other specific content. It is safest to treat the toggle as a content option whose exact effects EA has not documented in that guide, rather than assume it removes every scene the ESRB describes.

The game launched on October 31, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC storefronts, according to EA’s launch announcement. The official PlayStation listing identifies a PS5 Standard Edition.
