The official material ties the later 33-character GT-inclusive addition to Super Limit-Breaking NEO. That does not establish that every edition or platform bundle includes the expansion. Before buying, check the exact listing for your platform and edition, including whether it contains NEO and whether it requires the base game. Which platforms are listed for the expansion?
Bandai Namco’s NEO announcement lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The Dragon Ball Official Site’s announcement also lists Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. Check the store page for your platform to confirm availability and the specific package’s DLC entitlements; platform support alone does not confirm that a particular edition includes the expansion.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How do the roster figures fit together?
Bandai Namco announced 181 playable characters for the game at launch in 2024. Separately, its 2026 NEO announcement describes 33 playable characters in that expansion. These are figures from different announcements, not a stated current total: they should not be added together as a deduplicated roster count.
