1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesNot confirmed. Livepush documents prerecorded video playlists and continuous looping for YouTube, while YouTube supports vertical live streams that viewers can discover while browsing Shorts. But the available documentation does not confirm that Livepush can send a prerecorded loop in 9:16 portrait format or that a Livepush loop will appear in YouTube’s Shorts live feed. Treat that combination as unverified until Livepush confirms it.
What “loop,” “vertical live,” and “Shorts live” mean
- A loop is prerecorded video—one recording or a playlist—that plays repeatedly as a livestream. Livepush’s help article describes queued videos playing back to back as one continuous livestream, including use for 24/7 channels. Playlists are included with plans that have the 24/7 schedule channel. Livepush’s playlist instructions explain that workflow.
- A vertical live stream is a portrait-format 9:16 broadcast. YouTube says mobile viewers can encounter vertical livestreams while browsing Shorts and enter a full-screen vertical live experience. See YouTube Help’s vertical live-stream guidance.
- The Shorts live feed is a YouTube discovery surface for vertical live streams; it is not simply another name for video looping. A stream being prerecorded and continuous does not, by itself, establish that it is portrait-format or eligible to appear in that surface.
What Livepush documents—and what it does not
Livepush describes uploading recorded videos, scheduling them to YouTube, playlist playback, and continuous looping from the cloud without keeping a local computer running. Its product page says loops can run indefinitely subject to plan stream-duration limits; that is a vendor claim, not an independently verified guarantee. See Livepush’s product page.
Livepush identifies YouTube as a destination, but its destination documentation does not establish that the connection offers a portrait-specific stream key or simultaneous horizontal-and-vertical output. See Livepush’s YouTube destination instructions.
The key distinction is therefore between documented playlist looping and unconfirmed vertical routing. The available Livepush documentation does not say whether a prerecorded playlist can be emitted at 9:16 using a vertical stream key, nor whether YouTube will surface that output in Shorts live discovery. Do not treat general YouTube destination support as confirmation of either capability.

How YouTube handles vertical live streams
YouTube documents two ways to configure vertical live output. In Live Control Room, creators can set up a dual stream with horizontal 16:9 and vertical 9:16 formats. For a third-party encoder, YouTube describes using RTMP(S) and selecting a second stream key for the vertical stream. YouTube also says the vertical format cannot be added after a stream has started, so configure and check the format before going live. These are YouTube’s documented pathways; they do not establish that Livepush’s prerecorded-loop feature implements them. See YouTube’s setup guidance.
What to verify before choosing a workflow
- Ask Livepush whether its prerecorded playlist or loop can be output at 9:16 to YouTube.
- Ask whether that workflow supports YouTube’s vertical stream key, and whether it can also provide a simultaneous 16:9 stream if you need both formats.
- Confirm whether YouTube recognizes the resulting stream as a vertical live stream eligible for discovery while viewers browse Shorts. A portrait-looking preview alone would not confirm feed placement.
- Test the actual setup before relying on it for a scheduled broadcast. Check the stream’s orientation and the mobile viewing experience, and verify feed visibility separately.
Livepush plan and price context
Livepush’s plan page lists the Creators plan at $39/month, or $32.50/month when billed annually at $390, and says it adds a 24/7 schedule channel and video looping. Those are prices listed on the vendor page accessed October 3, 2026, not a guarantee of current checkout pricing. Check the current plan details and price directly at Livepush pricing. The plan listing does not resolve the portrait-output question.
