No official PUBG MOBILE announcement in the available sources confirms a Snapdragon 765 cutoff or says the game intends to restrict 60 FPS to that chipset and newer ones. A third-party report describes Snapdragon 765 and newer as a threshold players have commonly noticed, but that is a reported pattern—not confirmed policy.
What is known about the Snapdragon 765 cutoff?
A May 15, 2026 article from Position is Everything reports that players have noticed 60 FPS availability around Snapdragon 765 and newer devices. The report does not establish that PUBG MOBILE has officially set that limit, and the official material cited here does not confirm a universal cutoff.
That distinction matters: an observed pattern in the frame-rate options available on some phones is not evidence of developer intent. Without an official policy statement or verified compatibility list, the claim should be treated as unconfirmed.
What does Snapdragon 765G tell you?
Qualcomm describes the Snapdragon 765G as a gaming-oriented mobile platform and lists its CPU and Adreno 620 GPU. Those specifications describe the platform; they do not prove that every phone using it will show a 60 FPS option in PUBG MOBILE.

A chipset name alone therefore cannot confirm game compatibility. The available sources provide no verified device-by-device table tying a particular processor to a guaranteed frame-rate setting.
How to check whether your phone offers 60 FPS
- Open PUBG MOBILE on the exact phone you want to use.
- Open the in-game graphics settings and check which frame-rate options are available. The relevant evidence is the option shown on that device, not a general claim about its chipset.
- If comparing phones, check the exact model and regional variant, chipset, screen refresh rate, game version and game region. These details can help make a comparison more precise, but the available sources do not establish that any one of them guarantees 60 FPS.
If you are considering a Snapdragon 765G phone, verify the exact handset and its in-game options before buying; the chipset label alone is not a guarantee.

Can updates change frame-rate availability?
PUBG MOBILE’s official news listing included a Version 4.7 Beta Test 1 announcement dated September 23, 2026, and Version 4.6 announcements dated September 7 and September 9, 2026. The listing does not state a Snapdragon 765 cutoff. Because compatibility details may change with updates, check the options in the game version you are actually playing rather than relying on a report about an earlier build.

PUBG MOBILE’s support guidance says lowering the FPS setting may help reduce heat and battery consumption. It also notes that battery use varies by device and environment. This is advice about device behavior; it does not confirm or explain a Snapdragon-based restriction on 60 FPS.
