What multiplayer options does Ring Fit Adventure offer?
Nintendo lists four modes: Adventure, Quick Play, Custom, and Multitask. None is described as a simultaneous multiplayer mode. The distinction is whether you want to share short activities in person or use a feature that shares activity asynchronously.

Take turns in selected minigames
Quick Play includes minigames that people can play by passing the Ring-Con and Leg Strap around. This lets multiple people share the game, but only one person is actively playing at a time; it is not competitive split-screen or cooperative play. Nintendo’s product page
Share activity with friends asynchronously
Multitask Mode records Ring-Con presses and pulls while the game is not running. You can send extra counts to friends as a present, but this does not create a live match or let friends join your session. See Nintendo’s Multitask Mode instructions.

Can two people play Adventure mode together?
No. Adventure is the game’s story-based fitness mode, and Ring Fit Adventure is listed for one player per system. Its main progression is designed around an active player using the Ring-Con and Leg Strap; Nintendo does not list a way for a second person to join that session. The product page describes more than 100 levels across over 20 worlds, but those figures do not indicate multiplayer support. Nintendo product information
Will extra controllers let more people play at once?
No. The included Ring-Con and Leg Strap each work with a Joy-Con, but adding controllers does not change the game’s one-player system listing. Nintendo’s control guide explains how the accessories provide inputs for activities; it does not describe a second-player setup.

Does Ring Fit Adventure work on Nintendo Switch 2?
Nintendo’s current compatibility guidance says Joy-Con 2 cannot attach to the included Ring-Con and do not fit the Leg Strap. To use those accessories on Switch 2, you need original Nintendo Switch Joy-Con. This is an accessory compatibility requirement, not a way to add multiplayer. What to expect when sharing the game
