Yes. Slay the Spire 2 Early Access has online co-op for up to four players. Mega Crit says there is no matchmaking: you can play with Steam friends. The mode is built around cooperation, including multiplayer-specific cards and team synergies.
How multiplayer works
The game lets a group of up to four players face the Spire together in online co-op. Steam’s listing describes both single-player and online co-op, and highlights cards designed for multiplayer and synergies between teammates. This is cooperative play, not a competitive mode.
Mega Crit’s FAQ puts the access limitation plainly: “Yes, StS2 has an online co-op multiplayer mode. There will be no matchmaking system–Steam friends only!” You should therefore expect to organize a group through Steam rather than queue for strangers through an in-game matchmaking system.
Platforms and Early Access status
Mega Crit lists the Early Access release for Steam on PC, macOS, and Linux, and says the game is Steam Deck compatible. The game launched in Early Access on March 5, 2026. Because it remains in Early Access, Mega Crit says it expects to continue adding content and balancing the game; features may change over time.

The official sources describe online co-op, but do not establish local couch co-op, cross-platform play, or additional multiplayer formats. Check the current Steam listing and Mega Crit FAQ for any later changes to supported features.
