Yes. The ASTRO A50 X can stay connected to an Xbox Series X|S, a PS5, and a PC or Mac, and its PLAYSYNC button lets you switch between them. The important distinction is that switching between Xbox and PS5 changes both the TV picture and headset audio; switching to PC changes headset audio, not the TV picture.
What “at the same time” means
All three systems can remain connected to the A50 X base station. PLAYSYNC selects which active system supplies the headset audio; it does not mix playback from Xbox, PS5, and PC simultaneously. With all three active, Logitech’s manual gives the switching order as Xbox → PC → PlayStation. Press the PLAYSYNC button beneath the headset’s power switch to cycle inputs. The display may briefly go dark during a console switch, and switching can sometimes wake a sleeping system. What switches on the TV—and what does not
When you switch between Xbox and PS5, PLAYSYNC changes the console video shown on the display as well as the headset audio. Selecting PC switches the headset to PC audio; it does not route PC video through the A50 X base station. If you play PC games on the same display, select the PC’s video input separately or use a separate display connection.
Logitech described this distinction in its A50 X launch announcement: console-to-console switching changes the TV image and headset sound, while selecting PC changes the sound in the headset.

How to connect the three systems
- Connect Xbox: Run the Xbox’s HDMI and USB connections to the base station’s labeled Xbox HDMI and USB ports.
- Connect PS5: Run the PS5’s HDMI and USB connections to the corresponding labeled PlayStation ports on the base station.
- Connect the display: Connect the base station’s HDMI Out to the TV or monitor.
- Connect PC: Connect the PC to the base station’s PC USB audio port. The manual describes separate PC audio endpoints for game/media and voice chat.
- Check port groups: Keep each console’s HDMI and USB connections in the same labeled group—Xbox or PlayStation. The manual warns that Game/Voice balancing may not work correctly if a console’s connections are split across groups.
- Select a source: Use the PLAYSYNC button on the headset to cycle through the connected systems.

When HDMI 2.1 matters
HDMI 2.1 is relevant to the console video passthrough features, not to the basic ability to connect PC audio or switch headset audio. Logitech lists up to 4K at 120 Hz passthrough on the A50 X product page. The manual states that HDMI 2.1 features require an HDMI 2.1-capable source, cable, and display; it specifies 40 Gbps-rated HDMI 2.1 ports. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results. Logitech also notes that HDMI cables are sold separately. Older HDMI equipment may still pass video and audio, but it will not provide every HDMI 2.1 capability.
