Whether you can use a particular option depends on your country, platform, game, and the feature’s current availability.
Can you gift a game through Ubisoft Connect?
The available official information does not establish a general, current Ubisoft Connect feature for buying any Ubisoft Store game and sending it directly to another account. If you have a specific game in mind, check its current Ubisoft Store page and support information for gifting or purchase options. Do not assume that buying a game on your own account will let you transfer it to a friend.
Can you give someone Ubisoft Store credit?
Ubisoft’s 2023 Holiday Gift Guide recommends a digital Ubisoft Store gift card for shoppers who are unsure what to choose. It describes choosing a custom amount and adding a personalized message. This is the clearest general gifting option documented by Ubisoft in the sources cited here.

That guide dates to December 2023, so check your local Ubisoft Store to see whether gift cards are currently offered and read the local redemption terms before buying. Ubisoft’s US Store Terms of Sale, last updated in September 2024, include gift cards among Ubisoft Products; the US terms do not establish availability or rules in every country.
What about gifting in-game content?
Some gifting options are specific to an individual game rather than a feature shared across Ubisoft. For example, Ubisoft announced Battle Pass gifting for Rainbow Six Siege through Ubisoft Connect in its Operation Brutal Swarm season announcement. Those are the terms described for that season’s feature, not a guarantee that Battle Pass gifting is currently available or that the same rules apply today. Check the game’s current instructions before relying on it.
Can you buy a Ubisoft gift through another retailer?
Ubisoft lists approved digital distributors for Ubisoft games and approved distributors for in-game currency; both pages include Amazon. This confirms retailer approval for the product categories described on those pages, not that Amazon currently sells Ubisoft Store gift cards or that any particular listing can be gifted to another account.

Before buying from a retailer, verify that the listing is legitimate and that its platform and region match the recipient. Ubisoft warns that purchases across regions may be region-locked or may not support the buyer’s language. Its distributor listings do not certify every third-party listing.
Which gifting option should you use?
- If you want to give the recipient a choice: Check whether your local Ubisoft Store currently offers a digital gift card, then confirm where and how it can be redeemed.
- If you want to give a particular game: Look for current gifting instructions on that game’s store page or support pages; a past promotion does not mean direct gifting is a standing feature.
- If you want to give a season pass or other game content: Check that game’s current rules, including any platform or friend-account requirements.
- If buying from another retailer: Use Ubisoft’s approved-distributor information as a starting point, then verify the specific product, seller, platform, and region.
Does Ubisoft Creator Codes affect gifting?
Ubisoft describes Creator Codes as a pilot program for eligible Ubisoft Store PC purchases. The program page excludes gift cards, Wallet credit, subscriptions, virtual-currency-only products, and non-PC items; it also says creator-code use may supersede other affiliate or loyalty attribution. Ubisoft Creator Codes is relevant if you are checking whether a purchase qualifies for a creator code, but it is not a gifting method.
