Yes. Wuthering Waves supports controllers on mobile, Mac, and PC, but compatible controller models and wired or wireless options differ by platform. Check the official list for your platform before connecting a controller or buying one.
Which controllers does Wuthering Waves support?
Kuro Games’ Version 3.4 Update Maintenance Notice lists these controller families and connection types:

The notice names supported controller families, not every model or third-party controller. It does not establish that an unlisted device will work, so treat compatibility outside this list as uncertain.
How to use a controller on mobile
After connecting a supported controller, you may need to switch the game into Controller Mode. Kuro Games’ Version 1.3 patch notes describe two ways to do this:

- With the game’s main interface displayed, press any button on the controller. A Controller Mode message should appear.
- Alternatively, while the controller is connected, open Settings and switch to Controller Mode there. Use Settings again to exit Controller Mode.
What PC players should check
If your controller supports multiple input modes, Kuro Games recommends using XInput for the complete experience in its Version 3.7 Update Maintenance Notice. Set the controller to XInput before launching or using it with the game. This is setup advice, not a guarantee that every third-party controller is compatible.
Why Steam says “Partial Controller Support”
Steam’s store listing labels Wuthering Waves as having “Partial Controller Support.” That is Steam’s storefront classification; for specific controller and platform guidance, use Kuro Games’ platform list above. In particular, do not assume that a connection type supported on one platform—such as wireless DualShock 4 on mobile or Mac—is also listed for PC.

What to check before connecting or buying
- Confirm that your platform is covered by the official compatibility list.
- Match the controller family to the list; support differs between Xbox and PlayStation models.
- Check whether your intended connection is listed as wired, wireless, or both.
- On PC, use XInput if your multi-mode controller offers it.
