FAU-G: Domination, the mobile shooter developed by Dot9 Games, reached one million Android pre-registrations on Google Play in about three weeks, according to a September 2024 report attributing the milestone to Dot9 Games and Nazara Publishing. The count was for people who pre-registered—not downloads or active players.
What was the FAU-G: Domination milestone?
GamesBeat reported on September 30, 2024, that FAU-G: Domination had passed one million Google Play pre-registrations in roughly three weeks. The figure was company-reported; the report did not establish an independent audit or explain a counting methodology. It described the game as the fastest from Nazara Publishing to reach one million pre-registrations at that time—a claim about that publisher’s games, not an industry-wide record. What game was announced?
FAU-G: Domination is a mobile shooter developed by Dot9 Games, a studio of nCore Games, and published by Nazara Publishing. In its June 26, 2024 announcement of a publishing partnership with nCore Games, Nazara described the title as featuring modern-day military aesthetics and Indian characters. On September 5, Nazara announced a gameplay trailer and said Android pre-registration was live on Google Play. Its announcement said iOS availability would be revealed later. How is the old pre-registration figure different from the current listing?
The 2024 milestone and the current Google Play download band measure different things. Pre-registration recorded interest before release; it is not a tally of installs or people who played. The Google Play listing, checked October 8, 2026, shows 1M+ downloads and an update date of September 7, 2026. Those are mutable store-page details and should not be read as a continuation or confirmation of the 2024 pre-registration count. The listing identifies the app as an Android shooter and marks it as containing ads and in-app purchases. FAU-G: Domination on Google Play
