Black Wind and White Wind are not new Saiyan transformations. They are two limited-time Infinite Skin cosmetic series for the free-to-play team-battle game DRAGON BALL GEKISHIN SQUADRA. The Dragon Ball Official Site announced them on 14 October 2026, with each series sold as a four-character set and decorated with flickering neon-green accents.
What the Black Wind and White Wind reveal actually adds
The announcement presents alternate in-game outfits and visual designs rather than new anime or manga forms. The official description calls them shop skins and highlights their neon-green effects, giving the designs a wind-themed look while leaving each character’s established identity and battle form intact. Both collections are part of Gekishin Squadra’s Infinite Skin cosmetics. “Black Wind” and “White Wind” are therefore labels for coordinated shop series, not names that expand Dragon Ball’s transformation canon.

The official announcement says the four Black Wind skins are sold as one set. Their shared visual treatment uses the series’ dark wind theme and the stated flickering neon-green accents.
White Wind character roster and Season 7 connection
White Wind is also a four-character set:
- Super Saiyan God SS Son Goku
- Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta
- Jiren
- Goku Black
The same announcement introduces Super Saiyan God SS Son Goku as the third new hero for Season 7. He has the Damage role. When he is paired with Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta, the two can trigger the merged “Kamehameha & Galick Gun” attack, giving the White Wind lineup a team-combination tie-in beyond its cosmetic theme.

What this means for Dragon Ball fans
If you saw headlines describing “Black Wind” and “White Wind” as Saiyan forms, the important correction is that these names apply to cosmetics in Gekishin Squadra. The characters remain the established versions listed above; the new content is their coordinated Infinite Skin appearance. Super Saiyan God SS Son Goku is the only character in this announcement also described as a new Season 7 hero, and that gameplay addition is separate from the White Wind skin itself.
Players choosing between the sets should base the decision on roster preference and visual style: Black Wind is built around Gogeta, Vegito and Super Saiyan versions of Goku and Vegeta, while White Wind combines Super Saiyan God SS Goku and Vegeta with Jiren and Goku Black. Both sets share the same announced availability window, and no official price comparison has been provided.
