Where to find Dratini in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
The Paldea Pokédex location guide lists Dratini in these areas:
- South Province (Area Six)
- North Province (Area One)
- North Province (Area Two)
- Casseroya Lake
These are the areas named by the Paldea Pokédex guide. It does not establish precise spawn points or encounter conditions within those areas.
How Dratini evolves
In the same Scarlet and Violet guide, Dratini evolves into Dragonair at level 30, and Dragonair evolves into Dragonite at level 55.

Dratini at a glance
The official Pokémon Pokédex identifies Dratini as #0147, a Dragon-type Pokémon, and lists Shed Skin as its ability. Its entry displays Dragonair and Dragonite in its evolution line. The Pokédex describes Shed Skin this way: “The Pokémon may cure its own status conditions by shedding its skin.” See the official Dratini Pokédex entry.
