The Dress To Impress BRAT update is over
The Dress To Impress x Charli XCX BRAT collaboration was a limited-time Artist Collaboration update that ran from August 17 through August 30, 2024. It promoted Charli XCX’s 2024 album BRAT with themed cosmetics, poses, makeup, hairstyles, runways, lobby decorations, music, and song-inspired voting themes.
It is not a current seasonal event. New players should not expect to enter a BRAT runway or unlock the collaboration rewards simply by joining Dress To Impress now. Players who participated during the event were able to retain the associated rewards, although later inventory updates changed where some BRAT items were organized.

BRAT update patch notes and additions
BRAT clothing and accessories
The collaboration added 10 BRAT-themed clothing and accessory items designed for use across feminine and masculine avatar bodies. Launch-era reporting also documented a hidden green apple item.
The available documentation does not provide a complete, official clothing-catalogue list, so the following names should be treated as documented BRAT in-game content rather than a definitive list of every clothing item:

Several of these names were associated with poses or other collaboration content. They should not be interpreted as proof that every name above was a separate piece of clothing.
BRAT pose pack
A BRAT pose pack was added for runway rounds. The documented pose names include Bumpin’ That, Von Dutch, So Julia, XCX, Reference, Baby, 360 Spin, and Club Jump. Players who joined the event could keep the BRAT clothing, accessories, and pose pack after the collaboration ended.
Makeup and patterns

New hairstyles and bangs
The update added nine hairstyles, including two bang hairstyles. The documented styles included:
- Several long-wave hairstyles
- A 1990s-inspired spiky bun
- Braided buns
- Looped braids
- Long braids
- A curly side ponytail
- Two bang variations
As with the makeup and pattern list, these are descriptions of launch-era BRAT content, not a guarantee that every style remains available to players who did not participate in the event.

The collaboration changed more than the dressing area. It introduced two special runway designs: a BRAT-themed runway for relevant rounds and a more standard runway for regular themes. The lobby and dressing room also received BRAT decorations, giving the entire between-round experience a collaboration theme.
Charli XCX songs were used in the event’s lobby or between-round presentation. The collaboration documentation specifically identifies “360,” “Apple,” and “Von Dutch” as songs heard during the event. Playback could vary according to the event or round state, so this does not mean that every song played in every lobby.

Song- and album-inspired theme voting
The BRAT update introduced a themed voting system connected to the collaboration. Instead of changing only the cosmetics and scenery, the event also affected the round-selection and voting experience with song- and album-associated themes.
This helped make the update feel like an in-game promotion for BRAT rather than a conventional cosmetic drop. The album itself is a 15-track release that includes songs such as “360,” “Club classics,” “Von dutch,” “Apple,” and “365.”

Cross-body compatibility changes
Several existing items became usable across more avatar bodies as part of the update’s broader quality-of-life changes:
- The masculine baggy T-shirt became compatible with feminine bodies.
- VIP pink platform heels became compatible with masculine bodies.
- The VIP pink sparkly mini dress became compatible with masculine bodies.
- The masculine buzzcut hairstyle became usable on feminine bodies.
These were general compatibility improvements included alongside the BRAT collaboration, not necessarily BRAT-exclusive rewards.
Custom makeup gifting
Custom makeup gifting was announced alongside the update, with launch reporting indicating that it was scheduled to release later on the update day. This feature should be separated from the BRAT reward content: it was a broader Dress To Impress feature and was not necessarily an exclusive Charli XCX collaboration item.

Can you still get the BRAT items in Dress To Impress?
The BRAT event itself cannot currently be joined. It ended on August 30, 2024, and there is no basis for promising that a new player can unlock the event’s clothing, accessories, poses, makeup, patterns, or hairstyles through a current code or ordinary gameplay.
Event-era reporting stated that players needed to play during the collaboration to keep the exclusive clothing, accessories, and pose pack. A later community-maintained changelog recorded inventory changes in which BRAT items were moved into a chest system introduced in February 2025 and later added back to Dressing Booths.
Because that later inventory history comes from community documentation rather than a current official developer changelog, availability may depend on the live game and a player’s account history. The safest summary is:
- Players who participated: were able to retain the relevant collaboration rewards, with their inventory location changing in later updates.
- Players who did not participate: should not assume the rewards can be claimed now.
- Current inventory location: may reflect later changes between chest systems and Dressing Booths.
- Codes and unlock guides: should not be trusted unless they are verified against current official Dress To Impress information.
The hidden green apple item also should not be advertised as currently obtainable without checking the live game first.

Readers who want a physical copy can look for the Charli XCX BRAT CD. The CD is an album product only: buying it does not unlock BRAT clothing, poses, or other Dress To Impress items.
