When did the Summer Update Part 1 launch?
Pro Game Guides reported that Part 1 launched on June 28, 2025. Its article was updated July 7, 2025. The same guide said Part 2 was scheduled for July 5, 2025; that was a schedule reported at the time, not a current event date.
Roblox’s Dress To Impress experience listing describes the game’s outfit creation, runway, collaboration, competition, and voting premise and identifies Dress To Impress Group as the creator. It does not provide historical Part 1 patch notes. The feature details below are attributed to Pro Game Guides because a complete official Part 1 changelog is not established by the available sources.
What did the update add?
Pro Game Guides described a mix of lobby and menu changes, seasonal progression, cosmetics, and Freeplay additions.

How many items and cosmetic options were reported?
Pro Game Guides counted 34 new clothing and accessory items. Its breakdown was:

How did the Baddie Pass work?
According to Pro Game Guides, the seasonal Baddie Pass had a 60-day duration, 30 tiers, and free and VIP tracks. Players advanced by completing Daily Tasks and rounds. The guide listed examples including Surfboard at Tier 1, Fresh Walk at Tier 14, Dragged Out Walk at Tier 18, Sun-Kissed Pose Pack at Tier 21, and Met Gala Dress at Tier 30; some rewards were VIP-gated.
How could players earn and spend Seashells?
The guide said Seashells were earned through Daily Tasks and Baddie Pass progression. Its listed costs were historical event prices, not confirmation of current in-game availability:

How did the Mermaid Round and Old Mermaid Tail reward work?
Pro Game Guides reported a special Mermaid Round every three hours, with a custom environment and judging criteria. Players placing in the top three were reported to receive the Old Mermaid Tail. This describes the limited event as reported in 2025; it does not establish that the round or reward is available now.
Were there other limited-time rewards?
The guide reported Twitch Drops wings for viewers who watched a Dress to Impress stream with Drops enabled for 30 minutes and redeemed the resulting code. The reported campaign ran June 28 through July 29, 2025, so that window has expired.

Did merchandise unlock the Summer Update?
No. The official Dress to Impress merchandise page lists the Mystery Model Minifigure 2-Pack (16 items, Series 1), a physical collectible with mystery minifigures, clothing pieces, theme cards, and DLC tokens. The page describes merchandise-linked Roblox rewards, not access to the Summer 2025 update or its limited event rewards.
The merchandise page says codes cannot be reused and instructs players to enter the game within 24 hours after redeeming; otherwise, the code expires and must be re-entered. Its listed pack contents include two mystery models, 10 clothing items, two theme cards, and DLC tokens. It also lists two possible five-star rewards at 6% each and eight possible one-star rewards at 11% each. These are page-listed product details, not general odds for other items or game rewards.
