Dying Light 2: Stay Human’s Halloween Showdown was a three-week seasonal event announced on October 30, 2025. It turned Villedor into a Halloween-themed battleground, paired rival factions in weekly contests, and added a haunted Tower Raid run. It is a past event, not a live event as of October 8, 2026.
What was Halloween Showdown?
Halloween Showdown combined limited-time objectives in the open world with seasonal Tower Raid content. Players could take part in activities around Villedor and in Tower Raid, earn Halloween Candy, back a faction, and pursue event rewards. Techland’s announcement described themed weapons and exclusive charms, but did not provide a complete item-by-item reward list.
Halloween decorations changed the city’s look, while Pumpkintiles and seasonal infected brought event-specific encounters to Villedor. Baka the Unfortunate returned as the event’s guide and vendor, handling bounties, trades, and rewards.
Which factions competed each week?
The event unfolded as three consecutive weekly contests, with a new pair of rivals each week:

Haunted Tower Raid
The event’s Tower Raid experience had a haunted theme, new floors, and a rooftop boss. CyberRaider also debuted as a playable character. These seasonal touches accompanied a broader update to the mode.
Which Tower Raid changes lasted beyond the event?
Techland said Tower Raid would become permanently accessible with the October 30, 2025 update. The update also outlined additional floor layouts, rebalanced modifiers, and an expanded reward track. Those mode and update changes should be distinguished from the time-limited Halloween contests and their seasonal activities; the event’s past status does not mean Tower Raid itself was limited to Halloween.

When did Halloween Showdown end, and is it still live?
Techland announced Halloween Showdown on October 30, 2025, as three consecutive week-long competitions. The official Dying Light Outpost event listing dates the event to October 30, 2025, and shows later events, including events in 2026. No current rerun is established, so Halloween Showdown should be treated as a past event as of October 8, 2026, rather than something players can currently join.
