The Dying Light 2 Stay Human x Balatro crossover adds two side quests that reward the Friend of Aiden Bundle for free. Its Joker Charm has a random gameplay effect when crafted, but Techland’s announcement does not list the possible effects, their odds, or how long they last.
How to unlock the Friend of Aiden Bundle
Look for posters in the Bazaar and the Fish Eye to start the crossover’s short side quests. Techland says the update adds two quests, including a riddle quest that tests your knowledge of Villedor. Complete both quests to earn the Friend of Aiden Bundle; the announcement describes it as a free quest reward, not a paid crossover pack.

Techland announced the crossover on June 26, 2025. Its announcement does not confirm that the quests remain accessible in every current game build or on every platform, so check in-game before relying on version-specific directions. Read Techland’s announcement.

What the Joker Charm’s random effects mean
Techland’s description is limited: “Create a charm, and you’ll receive a random one with a unique gameplay effect.” That means the crafted charm’s effect is random, but the announcement does not provide a full effect list, chance rates, or effect durations. It also says some effects are more useful than others. Don’t treat any specific effect or probability as confirmed by this announcement.

How the Ceremonial Dagger’s multiplier works
The dagger’s multiplier rises when you defeat different enemy types, perform finishers, and destroy Joker Charms. Repairing the dagger resets the multiplier. Techland warns that “the multiplier is reset when the weapon is repaired, so get all you can out of it!”

The official Dying Light news index lists later franchise updates, but that does not establish whether this particular crossover quest is currently available in every build or platform. The June 2025 announcement remains the source for the bundle contents and mechanics.
