Dynasty Warriors: Origins’ Standard Version is the base game. The Digital Deluxe Edition adds an in-game digital book and soundtrack, plus 10,000 gold and 30 pyroxene. The physical TREASURE BOX is a separate collector package, while Visions of Four Heroes is a separately sold expansion—not an edition of the base game.

What does Digital Deluxe actually add?
Digital Deluxe is the base game plus digital extras and in-game currency. Its Official Book is in Japanese. The book and soundtrack are accessed in-game rather than supplied as standalone files on Steam, so do not choose this edition expecting a PDF to read outside the game or MP3s to play in another app. Steam listing

How is the TREASURE BOX different?
The TREASURE BOX is the physical collector option described by the publisher: it bundles the game with a B3 cloth poster, original soundtrack, and original book. Steam notes that its Digital Deluxe book and soundtrack correspond to the book and soundtrack included in the Treasure Box sold in some regions. The formats are different: Digital Deluxe provides in-game digital content, while the TREASURE BOX is a physical package. Are early access and launch bonuses still included?
No current purchase should be assumed to include the launch-period bonuses. The original Digital Deluxe preorder offered 72 hours of early access, but the publisher excluded the Nintendo Switch 2 version. Early access was a preorder benefit, not an ongoing edition feature. Publisher product page

- Thrilling real-time action Mastering the basics of combat, including block-breaking strong attacks, counters and evasion, is essential. Break enemies' defensive Fortitude by striking weak points and activate an Assault to deal massive damage. Continuous combat fills the Musou Gauge - use this to unleash a powerful Musou Attack.
- Use Tactics to turn the tide of battle Use Tactics to command surrounding allies to perform various actions, such as an advance or cavalry charge, which can trigger Dramatic Success in some situations. Assembling your troops in a Large Force will maintain high morale and they will coordinate their attacks, severely weakening enemy strength. Large Forces can deploy Grand Tactics to dramatically shift the battle with intense group assaults.
- Choose the right weapons and Companions Wield a variety of weapons, from swords and spears to specialised ones like gauntlets and crescent blades. Mastering weapons helps the protagonist reach a new Rank and increase his abilities. Use horses for travel and, for certain battlefields, choose a Companion to fight alongside you. You can switch to a Companion during battle for a limited time, so choose the right moment to control them and unleash their powers.
- A new Three Kingdoms story and world to explore Experience an immersive story through the eyes of the amnesiac protagonist who must identify friends versus foes, heroes who can bring order to the chaos, and enemies to cross blades with. He will traverse a map, vividly representing the grand world of the Three Kingdoms, where large-scale historical battles and additional Missions and Skirmishes can be undertaken. Discover new weapons in towns or encounter officers along the way and deepen bonds with them by completing their requests and challenges.
The publisher’s listed deadlines for the original bonuses have passed: January 30, 2025 for the Early Works Soundtrack Collection offer tied to the initial purchase period, and January 16, 2025 for the digital preorder costume offer. Select physical retailers had a separate protagonist costume offer. Is the expansion included in an edition?
No. Visions of Four Heroes is a separate paid add-on, not part of Standard, Digital Deluxe, or the TREASURE BOX contents listed above. It requires ownership of the base game. Which version should you choose?
- Choose Standard if you want the base game and do not need the digital book, soundtrack, or currency bonus.
- Choose Digital Deluxe if you want those digital extras and are comfortable accessing the book and soundtrack in-game rather than as standalone files.
- Choose the TREASURE BOX if you specifically want its physical collector items; confirm that the package is offered in your region and verify the listing’s contents.
- Buy the expansion separately only if you want Visions of Four Heroes; it is not an edition upgrade and requires the base game.
