What the reported beta leak shows
Insider Gaming’s Andrew Highton reported on August 5, 2025, that a 20-second clip from the FC 26 beta showed a double walkout. The report says the animation rapidly revealed the players’ position, country, league and club before showing the cards. One card’s rating counted up to its final value, then a second player ran into the frame. Insider Gaming’s report credits the footage to X account @fdbmcfc.

This is a report about beta footage, not an EA announcement. The reporting reviewed here does not independently authenticate the original video or establish whether it was edited. It is therefore most accurate to describe what Insider Gaming reported, rather than treat the clip as verified footage of the final game.
Does the released game use the same animation?
Not according to the descriptions available. A September 24, 2025 guide describes the released FC 26 walkout as a player emerging into a tunnel bearing an FC logo. That differs from the beta report’s emphasis on rapid cuts between player details. The sources do not explain why the descriptions differ, so they do not establish that a redesign or particular update caused a change.

EA’s official materials confirm FC 26 and its release, but the reviewed materials do not confirm the exact walkout animation. The beta clip and the later guide should be treated as separate descriptions, not combined into one definitive sequence.
What counts as a walkout in FC 26?
Football Gaming Zone’s September 24 guide says a Gold player rated 86 overall or higher is a walkout, and that Icons and special cards also walk out. This is guide-reported gameplay information, not a threshold published as an official EA rule. The guide describes an in-game cue; it does not provide pack odds or establish how often a walkout will occur.

When and where did FC 26 launch?
EA announced that FC 26 launched worldwide on September 26, 2025. Its announcement lists PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, and PC. EA’s launch announcement confirms the date and platforms, not the animation shown in the leak. EA’s FC 26 product page provides official product and platform context.

What the leak does not establish
- EA confirmed the beta clip or adopted its animation in the released game.
- The reason the beta report and later guide describe different visuals.
