During the EA SPORTS FC 26 closed beta, players reported glitches that appeared to open modes beyond those assigned to their invitations—including a claimed route into Ultimate Team. The reports do not establish that the glitch unlocked every mode or worked reliably, and the beta has ended.
What was the EA FC 26 beta glitch?
Community posts during the beta described ways of reaching modes a player was not assigned. One Reddit commenter said they had “Managed to glitch myself through the season pass into Ultimate Team.” Another post referred to a season-pass glitch and a separate internet-related glitch. These are individual player accounts, not confirmation that either method worked for everyone.

The reported Ultimate Team outcome is narrower than the headline claim that the glitch let players play all game modes. The available posts do not establish that every mode was accessible, that the routes were repeatable, or how many players used them. Read the beta-period Reddit megathread.
What access did EA officially allow?
EA’s closed-beta guide said each invitation email would identify the modes available to its recipient and cautioned that not all modes would be available to all players. That was the official access rule; the community glitch claims were not an announced beta feature. EA’s official closed-beta guide lists the access guidance.

When did the FC 26 closed beta end?
EA’s official beta window ran from August 6, 2025, at 5 PM UTC to August 26, 2025, at 5 PM UTC. The closed beta is no longer available, so the reported routes are not a current way to access FC 26 modes.
Did EA confirm or patch the glitch?
The cited EA guidance and launch announcement do not confirm the specific glitch, explain how it worked, or document a patch for it. It would be inaccurate to say EA verified or fixed the reported exploit. The evidence supports describing it only as a beta-period community report.
