Winter Wildcards was an official EA SPORTS FC 26 Ultimate Team campaign, but it is not an upcoming FC 26 promo: EA published its announcement on December 19, 2025, and its stated pack-return window ran from December 18, 2025, to January 1, 2026. The available sources do not verify a current leak claiming otherwise. EA’s FC 26 news archive lists later updates, including Pre-Season on August 28, 2026.
Is Winter Wildcards the next EA FC 26 promo?
No. Winter Wildcards was a real FC 26 campaign, but its dates have passed. EA’s official announcement is dated December 19, 2025. EA said 60 player items from six campaigns would return to packs from December 18, 2025, through January 1, 2026.

The claim in the headline that leaks reveal it as the next FC 26 promo is not substantiated by the available sources: they do not identify a named, dated leak or establish that Winter Wildcards is upcoming. EA’s FC 26 news archive lists later Ultimate Team updates, including Pre-Season on August 28, 2026. That timeline makes a present-tense claim that Winter Wildcards is the next FC 26 promo stale.
What EA announced for FC 26 Winter Wildcards
EA described the campaign as a festive Ultimate Team event built around upgraded player items and content inspired by past, present and future campaigns. The announcement said it would include three new Heroes and ICONs, plus Live Events, Squad Building Challenges (SBCs), Objectives and Evolutions.

These are details from EA’s December 2025 announcement, not a schedule for a future FC 26 event.
What about Winter Wildcards in FC 27?
A third-party FIFAUTeam FC 27 schedule predicts a Winter Wildcards window from December 18, 2026, to January 1, 2027. That is a forecast, not an EA confirmation or evidence of a leak. The page cautions that annual events can shift dates, receive new names or not release at all.

So the FC 27 prediction should not be conflated with the completed FC 26 campaign. EA’s dated announcement establishes what happened in FC 26; the forecast does not establish what EA will do in FC 27.

For a claim that a promo is “next,” check whether it has a dated original source and whether EA has confirmed its timing. A historical campaign announcement can confirm what an event included, but it cannot prove a new event is imminent. In this case, the available sources establish FC 26 Winter Wildcards as a past campaign and do not verify a current leak about its return.
