When did the College Football 25 trailers release?
- February 15, 2024: EA announced a teaser trailer offering a first glimpse of the game and said a fuller reveal would follow in May. EA’s teaser announcement.
- May 17, 2024: EA published its broader reveal, featuring gameplay, modes, platforms and the release date. EA’s reveal announcement.
- July 19, 2024: EA announced that the game was available and described its school and stadium coverage. EA’s launch announcement.
The May reveal is the one to watch for a fuller overview; the February video was an initial teaser.
What did EA announce in the reveal?
EA announced a worldwide release on July 19, 2024, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game was not announced for other platforms in the reveal. EA positioned CampusIQ as the gameplay feature suite and said the game covered all 134 FBS schools. Those are publisher-reported descriptions, not independent test results.
What modes are in College Football 25?
- Dynasty: Manage a team and build its program.
- Road to Glory: Follow a player’s college career.
- College Football Ultimate Team: Build a squad from player items.
- Road to the College Football Playoff: Compete through divisions on a path toward the playoff.

What gameplay details did EA share?
In its gameplay deep dive, EA described 80 abilities, divided into physical and mental categories with tiered levels. Design Director Scott O’Gallagher was credited in the article. How many schools and stadiums does the game include?
EA’s May 2024 reveal cited all 134 FBS schools. In its July 2024 launch announcement, EA reported coverage of 134 FBS universities and more than 150 stadiums. These are figures reported by the publisher.
