EA announced FC 25 FUT Birthday on March 6, 2025, and the campaign began March 7. It is a past event, not an upcoming release. EA’s announcements confirm the schedule and features below, but do not verify a pre-release leak or provide a complete leaked squad list.
When did FC 25 FUT Birthday release?
EA published its official FUT Birthday announcement on March 6, 2025. The campaign began Friday, March 7, with EA’s FC Direct celebration stream scheduled for 9:30 a.m. PST / 5:30 p.m. GMT. Liverpool forward Diogo Jota was set to present the complete Team 1 squad during the stream.

EA scheduled Season 6: Memory Lane to begin Thursday, March 13, as the campaign entered its second week. The Roma Trio content followed on Friday, March 14.
What content did EA confirm?
EA framed the campaign as a celebration of 16 years of Ultimate Team. Its March 6 announcement listed daily Player SBCs, daily Evolutions, returning FUT Birthday Icons, and the introduction of FUT Birthday Heroes.

Five-star upgrades and Evolutions
EA said every FUT Birthday player would receive upgrades to both 5-star Skill Moves and 5-star Weak Foot. It also announced 5-star upgrade Evolution consumables as rewards from Objectives, the Season Ladder, and Squad Building Challenges.
The Roma Trio
EA’s March 10 update named Seydou Doumbia, Victor Ibarbo, and Gervinho for “Streets Won’t Forget” versions, scheduled to become available March 14 through Objectives and Evolutions. FUT Birthday Hero versions of the trio were to enter the pack pool; their base versions would not be available in FC 25 packs.

What did the FUT Birthday cards look like?
EA described Cosmetic Evolutions that used retro item shells from FUT 18, FUT 19, and FUT 20. The official announcement’s image description shows colorful cards with festive confetti designs. EA’s published description does not specify a full palette, typography, or detailed card layout, so those details should not be treated as confirmed design specifications.

In particular, the confirmed player upgrades, daily content, Icons, Heroes, retro shells, and Roma Trio details should not be presented as proof of a leak. EA’s March 6 announcement is the source for the campaign features, while its March 10 update clarifies how the Roma Trio versions were distributed.
