Stephy Mavididi’s FC 24 base card is listed at 76 overall, while André Vidigal’s is listed at 72. Those database entries make them useful examples of Championship wide players, but the available ratings do not support a verified, definitive top-20 ranking. Here is what the sourced profiles establish—and what a reliable ranking would need to specify.
What “best” means in an FC 24 winger ranking
A ratings-based list should order players by their standard FC 24 base-card overall rating. That is a narrow measure of the game database, not a verdict on real-world quality, current form, or which player feels best to use.

It also matters which card set is being ranked. Base cards and Ultimate Team special cards are separate records, and their overall ratings should not be mixed in one list. Player database ratings can also vary by card type or update, so a ranking needs a consistent source and snapshot.
Who counts as a winger?
Winger eligibility needs to be defined before sorting players. A narrow rule could include only LW and RW. A broader rule could also admit LM, RM, LF, and RF, which brings flexible midfielders and forwards into the candidate pool. Database position labels are not always identical, so the rule can change who qualifies and the final order.

Vidigal illustrates why that choice matters: FIFACM lists him as LM and shows ratings for several other positions, including RW and LW. Under a broad wide-position rule he qualifies; a list limited to players whose main position is LW or RW could treat him differently.

Mavididi: a 76-rated LW base profile
FIFA Index lists Mavididi at 76 overall for Leicester City in the Championship, with LW as his position. The profile’s 87 pace and 75 dribbling describe his card attributes; they do not establish how he performs in a particular mode or formation. View the FIFA Index FC 24 profile.

Vidigal: a flexible wide option listed at 72
FIFACM lists Vidigal at 72 overall and associates him with Stoke City and the Championship. LM is his listed position, with ST, RW, LW, CAM, and RM also represented in the profile’s position ratings. This makes him a plausible candidate for a broad definition of winger, but does not by itself settle his place in a league-wide ranking. View the FIFACM profile.
Why a definitive top 20 cannot be established here
The EFL published “Who are the top rated Sky Bet Championship players in EA FC 24?” on 13 September 2023. It provides official league context, but the available evidence does not establish a winger-only top 20 from that article.

FIFA Index and WeFUT have league and player database listings that can help identify candidates, but the available listing evidence does not verify 20 names and ratings against one consistent FC 24 base-card dataset. Without that same-source check and a stated position rule, publishing an ordered top 20 as fact would overstate what is established. A defensible list would filter one database snapshot using explicit eligible positions, exclude special cards, and sort the remaining base cards by overall.

Overall is useful for a quick rating-based comparison, but it does not answer every squad-building question. For a role-focused comparison, assess pace and dribbling for carrying the ball, passing for delivery, shooting for goal threat, and physicality for contact. The cited evidence provides that attribute breakdown for Mavididi, not a complete comparable set across 20 candidates.

Career Mode potential and Ultimate Team special-card ratings are different questions from current base overall. Keep them in separate comparisons rather than treating them as interchangeable measures.
