Five players are rated 90 OVR
Dembélé, Rodri, van Dijk, Bellingham and Haaland occupy ranks three through seven, all at 90 OVR.
Ranks eight through 20 are rated 89 OVR
Thirteen players share the 89 OVR rating. EA’s published order is retained in the table rather than alphabetizing the names: equal OVR does not mean that every displayed rank is itself a separate overall-rating value. EA’s ratings-page note says its ranking order uses overall rating first, then subjective factors based on real-life performance, not item attributes. The current ratings page has moved on to FC 27, so it is not the source for the FC 26 figures.

What was leaked, and what EA later confirmed
Soccer Gaming reported on August 29, 2025 that an Ultimate Team Top 50 ratings list had leaked, crediting FUT accounts @exofifa_ and @RadarFC_. At the time, the outlet noted EA had not confirmed the list. EA then published its official FC 26 ratings announcement on September 8, 2025. For the definitive men’s top 20 and its tie order, EA’s later announcement is the source to use; the earlier report is context for why “leaked” appeared in pre-release coverage.
The men’s list is separate from the women’s ratings
EA published separate top 26 lists for men and women, rather than one combined ranking. This article follows the men’s list, which aligns with the pre-release Top 50 report’s focus. EA’s announcement gave Alexia Putellas and Aitana Bonmatí the highest women’s rating, 91 OVR. EA said that “men’s and women’s teams play separately” in the game, and that ratings draw on authentic match data, with Ultimate Team players rated in reference to their league and the real-life athletes they face.

EA also described a roster of more than 20,000 players, with ratings revealed across more than 750 clubs and 35 leagues; those are EA’s stated figures, not independently audited counts.
