How to recruit Melridge
- After the relevant story event, go to the Headquarters Great Hall.
- Consult Melridge there. He joins automatically after the conversation.
How to recruit Barnard
- When the story reaches the point at which Barnard is available, visit the Headquarters Great Hall.
- Consult Barnard Sawad. He joins automatically at that point in the story.
How to recruit Milana
- Upgrade the Rune Shop to Level 2. The recruitment guides describe this as the upgrade that lets the shop sell runeshards.
- Go to the Trading House on the second floor of Headquarters and speak to Milana at the Rune Shop.
How to recruit Douglas
- Travel to Eltisweiss and find the Smithy on the city’s west side.
- Speak with Douglas there to recruit him. The reviewed guides do not list an additional requirement.
What to check if someone is not available
- Melridge or Barnard: Their Great Hall interactions are tied to story progress. If they are not available, continue the main story and check the Hall again when the next relevant event has occurred.
- Milana: Confirm that the Rune Shop has reached Level 2 before looking for her at the Trading House on Headquarters’ second floor.
- Douglas: Check the Smithy on Eltisweiss’s west side. No other prerequisite is stated by the reviewed guides.
