The guide characterizes him as mobile: he can deal damage while moving and has Roll as a movement ability. It also describes a high skill ceiling, particularly around timing buffs and proc-based effects. These are guide descriptions, not results from a current gameplay test.
How do Elarion’s Focus and proc mechanics work?
The October 2025 guide describes Focused Shot as a Focus builder and many of Elarion’s other abilities as Focus spenders. Its central proc sequence links Focused Shot, Celestial Impetus, Celestial Shot, and Lunarlight Mark:
- Build Focus: Use Focused Shot to generate Focus and potentially gain Celestial Impetus.
- Spend the proc: Use Celestial Shot after Celestial Impetus activates. The guide says Celestial Shot applies three stacks of Lunarlight Mark.
- Trigger follow-up damage: Damage against marked enemies can trigger Lunarlight Salvo.
The guide reports 15-second durations for Celestial Impetus and Lunarlight Mark, a maximum of two Celestial Impetus charges, and Lunarlight Salvo trigger chances of 25% on ordinary hits and 50% on critical hits, scaling with agility. These are values reported by the October guide, not confirmed current tooltip values. A November 2025 hotfix notice explicitly said tooltips had not yet been updated, so treat these numbers as version-sensitive.

That sequence is a dated guide recommendation, not a verified current rotation. Confirm that the abilities, names, talents, and interactions match the current client before using it as a build prescription.

What changed in the November 2025 hotfix?
A hotfix announcement dated November 20, 2025, for planned November 21 maintenance, said Elarion had been falling behind other heroes and outlined adjustments intended to improve multi-target strength and address kit issues. The announcement was mirrored by eprison.de rather than directly consulted on a developer page, so its details should be read as dated patch information, not confirmation of the latest balance state.
- All Elarion damage was increased by 12%.
- Highwind Arrow and Piercing Seekers received increased ricochet damage.
- Lunarlight Mark’s target cap increased from five to twelve, and its application radius increased.
- Multishot and Starfall Volley received changes to target scaling.
- Grappling Arrow, Pathfinder’s Resilience, and Heartseeker-related talent behavior were also changed.
The notice warned: “The tooltips have not been updated to reflect the above changes. The tooltips will be updated with the next round of localization updates.” That warning makes the October guide’s exact mechanics values especially unsuitable as a substitute for checking the current client.
