For a published PvE ranking, Youwy’s August 27, 2024 video places Glintstone Kris first, followed by Black Knife and Miséricorde. That is one creator’s tier list—not an official ranking or a controlled comparison—and the best dagger for your character depends on your build, preferred skill, and whether you want a main weapon or a fast secondary for critical hits.
How to read this ranking
The order below follows Youwy’s PvE video, “Best Elden Ring Dagger? All 18 Daggers Ranked! Weapon Tier List Patch 1.16,” published August 27, 2024. It reflects that creator’s assessment, not a universal result for every stat spread, upgrade level, matchup, or play style. The available ranking does not describe a build-specific test protocol. Treat it as a useful shortlist, then choose by weapon skill, build fit, and the job you need the dagger to do.

Daggers are an armament category in Elden Ring. Their appeal can be a distinctive skill, a fit with a particular character build, or a quick secondary weapon for critical hits. The category reference specifically calls out ranged skills for Reduvia and Black Knife; the ranking itself does not establish a consistent performance comparison across all ten weapons.

2. Black Knife
Black Knife is second on the list. The dagger category reference identifies its distinctive skill, Blade of Death, as a ranged option. That gives it a point of difference for players interested in a weapon skill that can reach beyond ordinary close-range dagger attacks.
3. Miséricorde
Miséricorde is third and is the clearest option here to consider for a critical-hit-focused role. A reference page reports a critical rating of 140 and describes it as the highest critical stat among weapons. That figure is a source-reported game stat, not proof that Miséricorde is best in every encounter or build.

4. Erdsteel Dagger
Erdsteel Dagger ranks fourth. The available ranking gives its position but does not establish a detailed advantage, stat fit, or test result to distinguish it from the other entries. Use the list as a starting point and weigh it against your own character’s requirements and intended role.
5. Reduvia
Reduvia ranks fifth. The dagger category reference highlights its signature Reduvia Blood Blade skill as a distinctive ranged option. That makes its skill an important part of the decision; the ranking does not show that it will outperform another dagger for every build.

6. Bloodstained Dagger

7. Blade of Calling
