Collect these eight specific talismans to earn the Legendary Talismans achievement or trophy in Elden Ring. The checklist includes several easily confused names and one item that only appears in Leyndell after Maliketh’s defeat. None of the eight is reported as missable, so if the achievement has not triggered, first compare your inventory against the exact names below.
The eight Legendary Talismans
The achievement checklist is eight items—not every talisman in the game. This count is reported by PowerPyx’s 2022 guide, while Push Square’s guide also lists the same eight and says none are missable. The locations below follow those third-party guides; they are not official FromSoftware instructions.
| Talisman | Location and route | Gate or key check |
|---|---|---|
| Radagon Icon | Academy of Raya Lucaria. From Debate Parlor, head out to the courtyard and turn right. Cross the exterior ledge, climb the ladder, then enter through the open upper window to reach the chest. | Open exploration; confirm the name is Radagon Icon. |
| Radagon’s Soreseal | Fort Faroth in Dragonbarrow, Caelid. Enter the fort, climb to the roof, then descend through the correct opening into the lower passages to find it. | Do not substitute Radagon’s Scarseal. |
| Godfrey Icon | Defeat Godefroy the Grafted at Golden Lineage Evergaol in Altus Plateau. | Use a Stonesword Key to activate the Evergaol. |
| Moon of Nokstella | In a chest beneath the giant throne in Nokstella, Eternal City, in the Ainsel River area. Follow the stairways through the city to the upper cathedral area. | Access to Nokstella is tied to progression associated with Ranni’s questline. |
| Old Lord’s Talisman | In Crumbling Farum Azula near Beside the Great Bridge Site of Grace. Head away from the Maliketh approach into the ruined structure, descend the stairs and ladder, and reach the chest guarded by Beastmen. | Expect enemies guarding the chest. |
| Marika’s Soreseal | In Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree. From the Prayer Room area, descend to the lower level and open the locked room to find it inside. | Requires a Stonesword Key. Do not substitute Marika’s Scarseal. |
| Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman | In Elphael near Drainage Channel. Follow the roots outside to the church roof, drop through the roof opening onto the beams, and open the chest on the balcony. | Check for the exact Greatshield name; other Dragoncrest talismans do not count. |
| Erdtree’s Favor +2 | In Leyndell, Ashen Capital, on a branch in the ash-covered area. From Forbidden Lands, take the lift back into the capital and cross to the area with the branch. | Available after Maliketh’s defeat changes the capital; dangerous enemies are nearby. |
Plan the route around progression gates
The collectibles span Liurnia, Caelid, Altus Plateau, Nokstella, Elphael, Crumbling Farum Azula, and the Ashen Capital. A single uninterrupted sweep is not always practical: some items require a Stonesword Key, one is a boss reward, Nokstella access is linked to Ranni’s quest progression, and Erdtree’s Favor +2 depends on the post-Maliketh capital state.
- Open exploration: Radagon Icon and Radagon’s Soreseal are location searches without a stated key or boss gate in the cited guides.
- Stonesword Keys: Bring keys for Golden Lineage Evergaol and the locked room containing Marika’s Soreseal.
- Quest-linked access: If Nokstella is unavailable, continue the progression associated with Ranni’s questline.
- Late-game return: Do not search for Erdtree’s Favor +2 in the normal capital; the guide places it in Leyndell, Ashen Capital after Maliketh.
- Combat hazards: The Old Lord’s Talisman chest is guarded by Beastmen, and enemies threaten the Erdtree’s Favor +2 route.
If the achievement does not unlock
Check the item names in your inventory against all eight entries. The recurring mix-ups are Radagon’s Soreseal versus Radagon’s Scarseal, Marika’s Soreseal versus Marika’s Scarseal, and Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman versus other Dragoncrest variants. Similar names do not satisfy the checklist.

Push Square reports that none of the eight are missable, so a missing item normally means revisiting its location or meeting its access requirement. A PowerPyx guide comment dated March 5, 2022 reports a trophy that did not pop after collecting the items, but that anecdote does not establish a bug or a verified fix. The reviewed guides do not verify platform-specific trophy synchronization or recovery steps; no particular workaround can be promised.
